Product Warranty
We, Austars-Model, guarantee all our products to be free from defect for 30 days after the date of purchase (except LiPo/lifepo4 battery/servos as it is very difficult or impossible to determine it is product quality issue or the operator error). We may be able to accept the defective back for exchange or refund if you find an item you purchased from us is faulty before using it in new condition with original packaging and all accessories included. The sender needs to bear the freight cost. Please do not return the used product without our authorization. For most branded hobby products, please refer to the manufacturer warranty policy (on the manual). If you wish to obtain a longer warranty (out of the factory standard warranty policy) for a product sold by Austars-Model, you may directly contact the manufacturer. Some manufacturers insist on handling defects directly (see your owner's manual).
Product Return Policy:
Austars-Model is a respectable Australian RC hobby company. We hope you will enjoy the products you purchase from us. However we know sometimes this does not happen. If you are not happy with the product you purchased from Austars-Model, we accept merchandise for return that was purchased from Austars-Model within 30 days of receipt. The product must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging. We are unable to reimburse for return shipping costs. Austars-Model do not accept returns by COD or any other collection method. COD packages will be refused. Packages billing Austars-Model without authorization will result in actual freight charges billed back to sender unless other prior arrangements were agreed and made. Refunds typically take 3-5 business days from the date of issue, to show up on your account. We will give no credits or refunds for returns that arrive more than (15 days for local Aussie customers purchasing from our Sydney warehouse and 35 days for all customers worldwide purchasing from our global warehouse) from the date of our shipment to you.
Austars-Model accepts return of faulty products or damaged products (during the delivery process) with freight free in case replacement with identical new items cannot be processed. IF THE PRODUCT IS ORDERED AND SHIPPED TO YOU FROM OUR GLOBAL WAREHOUSE, ONLY INTL WARRANTY SERVICE IS AVAILABLE. THAT MEANS YOU NEED TO SEND IT BACK TO OUR GLOBAL WAREHOUSE FOR RETURN/REPAIR ETC. LOCAL PRODUCT WARRANTY CANNOT BE PROVIDED TO AUSTRALIA CUSTOMERS IF THEY PLACE THE ORDER FROM OUR GLOBAL WAREHOUSE. IF YOU ARE AUSSIE MODELLER AND PREFER LOCAL PRODUCT WARRANTY, PLEASE SELECT THE PRODUCTS FROM OUR SYDNEY WAREHOUSE. HOWEVER, TEAM AUSTARS ALWAYS TRY OUR BEST TO GUARANTEE QC. If a package that has obviously been damaged during shipment while delivered to your door, please refuse the delivery and contact us ASAP, save all packing materials and paper work as well as the damaged product, and request the couriers (delivering company) to make an inspection and sign it. If the damage during shipment was concealed, please contact the courier (delivering company) and us when you discover the damage. YOU MUST KEEP THE DAMAGED carton box until the shipment have been inspected by the carrier. If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you will jeopardize our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return. Products must be returned to us for inspection. Should you find a defect or have an item that requires repairs, please address your return to Austars-Model Service at the address below. If you expect the repair costs be covered under warranty, you MUST provide the required invoice or receipt, or a photocopied. In the event that there may be charges not covered by warranty, basic repair service charge $ 45 AUD /hour is payable. Team Austars will find a solution benefiting each party if the shipping cost is very expensive for most large packaging.
For customised order (customer confirmed by email and deposit paid), it can not be refunded if the customer wants to cancel the order.

For missing parts, we give the customer/buyer 14 days time to report, after this time frame, we will not be responsible for the missing parts. For wrong item or incorrect or incomplete received, please keep all the boxes and contact us within 2 days of receiving the parcel. Photograph the parcel and its contents inside the box and report to us and tell us the order number and problem with the order.
